Large and ripe strawberries at Karol’s. Everyone is shocked!

When growing strawberries or other berry plants in organic substrates, there is a belief that a substrate mat or pot should be used one cultivation cycle at a time. Meanwhile, Karol Bierla refutes this view. For the sixth year he is growing strawberries in mats filled with lignite from the company Carbohort. As he points out – it only gets better every year.

It’s never been worse, it’s only gotten better,” says the farmer from the farm in Boguszyn (Wielkopolskie Voivodeship). His plantation is not very large and is run under canopies, but it attracts strawberry buyers, above all by the taste of the fruit. This year the strawberries of the ‘Albion’ variety are growing for the 6th year in the same mats. There are no drop outs or growth problems. Above all, we have large and tasty fruit.
